FIRST 5 Family Resource Centers (FRCs) are places where children, parents, and caregivers can learn and grow together. FRC programs support families and help ensure children are happy, healthy, and prepared for school and life. FRC programs and services are free and open to all families with young children, prenatal through age 5. At a Family Resource Center, you will find: workshops for parents and caregivers; fun and educational programs for young children, ages 0 to 5; connections to local resources including health insurance, food and housing assistance, and baby supplies including diapers; health and developmental screenings for young children, ages 0 to 5 and more.
Starting July 1, 2024, some Family Resource Centers (FRCs) will no longer receive funding from FIRST 5 Santa Clara County. You can read about these ongoing changes here: English or Spanish.
To find a Family Resource Center near you, select your city in the menu or enter your zip code in the map below.
Diaper distribution programs are available at select centers. Centers with this symbol—👶—have a diaper program. Please note that some centers will start their distributions in August 2024.
